us for our first ever Seven Course Beer Dinner on August
10, 2007. As always, the menu features the best of the season.
The price per person is only $55.00 and includes Hinterland
beer pairings with each course.
First course
Honey Wheat
Honey Wheat marinated quail with chantrelle mushroom-barley
"risotto" and parsnip chips
Second course Amber
Roasted veal marrow and braised veal cheek, white bean cassoulet,
natural jus and amber espumé
Third course Bock
Cardamon spiced brioche, Hinterland wood-fired maple syrup
and seared foie gras
Fourth course Stout
Braised pork belly, kumomoto oyster-napa cabbage slaw and
potato-leek puree
Fifth course Pale Ale
Maine lobster drunken noodles with creamy green papaya relish
Sixth course Weizen
Weizen Bier Trio-Weizen Bier milkshake , chocolate-weizen
bread pudding with chocolate gelato, weizen banana fritter
and crème anglaise

The new Hinterland Erie Street Gastropub
opened its doors for business in Milwaukee's hip Third
Ward neighborhood. Led by Executive Chef Kelly Qualley
from Hinterland Green Bay and his new Sous Chef Brett
Weber–who spent his last two years at Charlie Trotter's
in Chicago–along with Hinterland Restaurant Manager
Lindsey Weigel and Nick Hayes from The Whistling Swan Inn
& Restaurant in Fish Creek, our new location features
a menu loaded with fresh ocean fish, shell fish, sushi,
wild game and Kobe beef as well as our incredible handcrafted
beer. In addition, the new location will offer a great
selection of wine from all over the globe.
Similar
to Hinterland Brewery in Green Bay, Hinterland ESG
will offer world class fare in a casual yet sophisticated
setting. Our new location houses both a main bar and separate
cocktail lounge, a main dining room that will seat 85
patrons and private dining room for approximately 40 guests.
Reservations can be made for dining and private parties
on August 18th.

Hinterland's most popular seasonal brew–Weizen Bier
will soon be available throughout select markets in Wisconsin.
Weizen Bier is a traditional unfiltered German Wheat beer.
Its light staw color is highlighted by a refreshingly smooth
flavor with hints of clove and banana. Weizen Bier will be
available in six-packs at most area retailers including grocery
and liquor stores as well as your favorite neighborhood bottle
shops. |
