BREWERY
Hinterland is a small artisinal brewery devoted to brewing world class beer. Founded in 1995, by Bill & Michelle Tressler, Hinterland makes it's home in a turn of the century meat packing warehouse. Our award-winning beer can be found throughout Wisconsin's finest restaurants, taverns, grocery stores or anywhere craft beer is sold.In addition, Hinterland beer is served at our restaurant attached to the brewery in Green Bay as well as Hinterland Erie Street Gastropub in Milwaukee's Third Ward District and at our affiliated restaurant The Whistling Swan Inn & Restaurant in Fish Creek, WI.
Hinterland Beer is brewed for maximum flavor, color and aroma. Each batch is carefully crafted for quality and consistency so that each bottle and keg delivers on our promise to provide our customers with an exceptional craft beer experience. Currently, we brew eleven beers, some very traditional and others somewhat extreme. We invite you to try a Hinterland for the ultimate beer experience and we'd like to hear from you when you do. Saturday's by appointment. The cost of the tour is $5.00 per person and includes two free beers in our lounge immediately following the tour.

PALE ALE
Our signature beer. Traditional English Pale Ale. Dark golden hue. Husky grain aromas with floral hop accents. |

AMBER ALE
Deep amber color. Clean roasty, slightly caramel. |

LUNA STOUT
Opaque, black, coffee-like character. Bold, rich and creamy, hint of chocolate in finish. |

CHERRY WHEAT
Crisp, clean mouthfeel and light in body. Slightly tart Montmorency cherry finish. A great summertime brew. |

OKTOBERFEST
Lightly filtered, deep golden lager. Very malty, lightly hopped. Velvet smooth mouthfeel with rich caramel flavor. |

MAPLE BOCK
Dark brown, mahogony hue around the fringe. Layered roasted malt and caramel flavors. Slightly sweet. Rich and chocolatey. Gold Medal; World Beer Championships.

WINTERLAND
Opaque, deep brown to black color. Rich roasted malt flavor. Generous hop bitterness and aroma. Reminiscent of a porter or stout with a surprising juniper berry finish. |
